With the LG 27QN880-B , we recently tested a monitor that comes with a swivel arm instead of a conventional stand. This not only saves a lot of space. We were really impressed by the ergonomics and the flexibility in handling. It's not for nothing that LG also calls the device an "ergo monitor".
At first glance, you might think that the lg 32un880-b is the same monitor – just as a 32- inch version. But even when buying winter tyres, as is well known, the tests should not automatically result in a different tire width. In addition, a look at the technical data of the LG 32UN880-B quickly reveals that the device has much more to offer than just the ergo theme.
The LG 32UN880-B is initially a 31.5-inch display with an IPS panel and 4K resolution in 16 : 9 format. But not only the work surface, but also the color space is significantly larger than in the "little brother". LG promises 95 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. Matching this, HDR10 is also supported. and the device can even be hardware calibrated.
While this makes the model even more interesting for photographers and creative people, gamers have to do without 75 Hz playback. We're excited to see how the all-round talent fares on our test course. Last but not least, the low price also contributes to this, since the device is already available in stores for 699 euros including shipping.

scope of delivery
The scope of delivery looks pretty lavish. In addition to the power supply, it also contains cables for the HDMI and USB-C connections. On the other hand, we missed a DisplayPort cable in our test device. Instead, we find an audio cable (jack to cinch ) that isn't even mentioned in the information on the manufacturer's website.
However, the information does not match the scope of delivery. The USB-C cable is not USB Type-A to USB Type-C, it is USB-C on both ends. The enclosed CD is not very informative because it contains nothing apart from regulatory information. We found the manual on LG's website, but not the standard color profile and driver.

The scope of delivery also includes an additional, carefully packaged mounting plate. It is only required if you do not want to mount the monitor on the outer edge of the table, but rather in a corresponding hole in the table top. |
